Dr. Martin Shulman

Dr. Martin Shulman is a native of St. Louis where he was born and raised.  He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry some 30 years ago and has a Bachelor's degree in psychology from St Louis University in St Louis.  Dr. Shulman is a member of the St. Louis Optometric Society were he regularly attends their monthly meetings.

Dr. Shulman has been married for 30 years to his wife, Phyllis, a swimming instructor, and has two boys that have just graduated college.

Dr. Shulman's career as an optometrist was shaped by his uncle, who was also an optometrist.  His uncle inspired him as a young man to pursue this great profession. In addition to serving the patients in his practice, Dr. Shulman works with Boys Hope/Girls Hope and supplies them with their eye care needs. He is also active with the Lion's Clubs in O’Fallon, Winfield, Troy and Moscow Mills, Missouri. He even finds time to work with the patients at the State Hospital in St Louis on Thursdays.  Dr. Shulman's practice has always accepted Medicaid patients as well and has worked to be a contributing member of the community.

Dr. Shulman specializes in general family optometry, contact lenses, and dry eye.

When not serving his patients or the community, Dr. Shulman is an avid reader, plays golf and enjoys hanging out with his kids.
